Creating & Accessing Your Account

This guide walks you through registering a new Rayo SMS account, understanding how your Default Sending-To Country affects phone number formatting, signing in, and managing your credentials.

  1. Open the Registration Page

Visit the Rayo SMS Sign Up page (or click Create an Account from the login screen).

  2. Fill in Your Account Credentials

Provide the following details on the registration form:

    • Your email: Your email address serves as your login Username and primary contact address for invoices, security alerts, and system notifications.
    • Your password: Choose a strong password (up to 72 characters maximum).
    • Repeat your password here: Re-enter your password to confirm it matches.
    • Default Sending-To Country: Select the primary country where you send most of your SMS messages (for example, Greece, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Belgium, or Ireland).
  3. Submit and Confirm Your Email

Click Sign Up. You will be redirected to a confirmation page (Thank you), and Rayo SMS will send an email with an activation link to your inbox. Click the confirmation link in that email to activate your account.

Understanding “Default Sending-To Country”

Section titled “Understanding “Default Sending-To Country””

During registration, you select a Default Sending-To Country. This setting controls how Rayo SMS normalizes recipient mobile numbers when a country dial code is omitted:

  • Numbers with an explicit country code: If you send an SMS to a number starting with a supported international country code (with or without a leading +, such as +306972669767 or 306972669767 for Greece, or +357... for Cyprus), Rayo SMS routes the message to that specific country.
  • Local numbers without a country code: If a mobile number does not begin with a supported country code, Rayo SMS automatically prepends the dial code of your Default Sending-To Country.

  • Sign In: Go to the Sign In page, enter your Username or Email and Password, and click Login.
    • If your account has pending team invitations from another account owner, you will be prompted to Accept or Deny them upon signing in.
  • Log Out: Click Log Out in the top-right corner of the navigation bar (or open the profile dropdown in the top-left of the sidebar and click Log Out).

If you forget your password, you can reset it at any time:

  1. On the Sign In page, click Have you forgotten your password? Click here and follow the relevant procedure.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account and click Send Request.
  3. Check your email inbox for the password reset instructions and click the unique token link provided.
  4. Enter your New Password and New Password Confirmation (up to 72 characters), then click Reset.
  5. Log in using your new password.

The Rayo SMS web application supports both English (en) and Greek (el). You can switch the interface language at any time using the language selector on the public authentication screens or within the application.
